Vita

Nicoline Wöhrle has been leading the group Corporate Relations & Communications at the WALA Foundation-owned company since 2017, which includes both WALA Medicines and the Dr. Hauschka brand. The foundation-owned company stands for a clear stance: placing people and nature at the center of entrepreneurial activity. Its ownership structure, based on stewardship, ensures independence and unites sustainability, social justice, health, and diversity for the benefit of all. Together with her team, Nicoline Wöhrle advocates for greater dialogue and visibility around corporate responsibility, for a holistic understanding of health and beauty, and for improved access to and education about prevention, maintaining good health, and dignified care. Her work focuses on the connection between nature and health, on healthy economic practices with responsible corporate governance, and on the role the company plays with the Dr. Hauschka brand as a pioneer of natural cosmetics and founding member of NATRUE. The goal is to contribute the company’s long-standing expertise in natural substances, their potential effects, and regulatory requirements to NATRUE’s work. Dr. Hauschka serves as an inspiration for sustainability on ecological, economic, and social levels—not as a solo effort, but as a genuine team achievement based on a shared mindset among all experts active for NATRUE. We are pleased to provide even deeper insights into the company’s holistic skincare expertise and its contemporary understanding of health and beauty for the panel. The shared path with the living power of nature is reflected not only in Dr. Hauschka’s products but also in the mindful approach to environmental and social responsibility embodied by the foundation model. Prof. Dr. Florian Stintzing, NATRUE President and CEO of WALA Heilmittel GmbH: “Our goal is to lead natural cosmetics into the future and give it a strong voice in Brussels. Natural substances are an important cultural asset; their potential effectiveness becomes tangible in natural cosmetics. We need more products on the market that make a meaningful difference ecologically and socioeconomically. Moreover, we want to provide consumers with a reliable basis for orientation in the confusing jungle of labels, enabling them to make informed purchasing decisions independently.”
