Hermann Koch Cosmetic Packaging, a Coburg-based manufacturer of plastic packaging, has unveiled a patented system for refillable sticks. The “Diego One Line Refill” has been developed specifically for solid formulations and is designed to promote greater sustainability and resource efficiency. Instead of disposing of an entire stick, users can refill it with new product using a refill container. This prevents waste and reduces plastic consumption by around 78 per cent. The stick is currently available in a 25-millilitre version, with 50- or 75-millilitre sizes also available on request.
