Visit to CosmeticBusiness 2026 saves on business trips

Trade fairs are far more than just meeting places for the industry: They enable efficient and sustainable business contacts to be made. A recent AUMA study shows that visits to trade fairs can save up to five business trips. Have you already planned your visit to CosmeticBusiness 2026?

The latest study conducted by the Institute for Sustainable Tourism at Harz University of Applied Sciences on behalf of AUMA impressively confirms that a visit to a trade fair replaces more than five individual business trips per person per day on average.

Around 3,000 participants were surveyed in order to analyse the efficiency of trade fair visits. It became clear that trade fairs offer considerable potential for sustainable mobility. Depending on the event, visitors save between three and almost 14 business trips. International guests in particular strategically bundle their appointments.

But the quality of the contacts is also impressive: over 60 per cent of business contacts made at trade fairs could not take place digitally in a comparable way. Personal discussions, spontaneous encounters and the direct experience of products create trust and strengthen business cooperation.

Yet another reason to make a note of the cosmetics industry's most important meeting point with its suppliers. From 10 to 11 June 2026, the industry will meet at the MOC in Munich to make valuable contacts and drive projects forward. Around 400 exhibitors will showcase trends and innovations: Cosmetics brands and manufacturers - from ingredients to packaging - will find the right solution for new product concepts.
