Matrihealth GmbH is a young German company specialising in a particular raw material: elastin. As a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute IMWS in Halle an der Saale, the company brings many years of scientific expertise to the development and manufacture of elastin, with potential applications in cosmetics, medicine and food.
