The Body Shop Germany is back in safe hands
New plans for the traditional British brand in the German market
The former trade manager and investor Stefan Herzberg has now taken over 21 of The Body Shop's former 45 German branches as of 15 September. Most recently, the company was managed by the private equity group Aurelius until the end of 2023, but shortly afterwards it filed for bankruptcy. Herzberg believes in the success of the chain, is counting on the loyalty of its customers and is now even talking about new branches and expansion in the medium term.
