Packaging specialist Aptar has launched a new hybrid serum foundation in collaboration with French cosmetics brand Clarins. The “Double Serum Foundation” combines skincare and make-up, utilising a dispenser with patented dual-chamber technology that mixes the two formulations only upon use. A thin partition inside the container initially separates 70 per cent colour cosmetics from 30 per cent moisturising formula, whilst an adjustable dial allows for variable application and coverage. The packaging is based on a solution previously developed by Aptar and is designed to enable precise application and reduce product wastage.
