The US consumer goods group Procter & Gamble has announced the acquisition of dietary supplement manufacturer Thorne. Thorne enjoys an excellent reputation among consumers and experts alike thanks to its scientific expertise, the company said. The billion-dollar deal is expected to be finalised later this year, subject to regulatory approvals. At the same time, the group announced net sales of US$87 billion for the 2025/2026 financial year, representing a three per cent increase on the previous year. In the fourth quarter of the financial year, P&G’s net sales also grew by two per cent to US$21.2 billion.
