Peptide for the eyes
Lubrizol introduces AI-powered Eyeseryl for contour rejuvenation
The American active ingredient manufacturer Lubrizol has introduced ‘Eyeseryl All In’, a new peptide for the eye area. The ingredient was developed using artificial intelligence and is PFAS-free. The aim is to reduce visible signs of ageing in the eye area and support the skin’s structure. According to the company, the peptide takes a multi-target approach and targets several areas of the eye area, including muscles and connective tissue.
Focus on multiple tissue structures
The new active ingredient is designed to target several tissue components in order to improve skin firmness in the eye area. According to the company, it is said to reduce dark circles, puffiness, wrinkles and signs of fatigue within seven days. In studies, the active ingredient has been shown to reduce vascular and lymphatic permeability as well as melanin and lipid accumulation.
Studies involving different subjects have also shown a smoother eye contour with a visible reduction in puffiness, dark circles, wrinkles, crow’s feet and sagging.
AI accelerates development
“Eyeseryl All In” has been developed in accordance with the principles of green chemistry and combines functional properties with current sustainability requirements. By combining AI-supported development processes with clinical studies and in vitro validation, the specialty chemicals company aims to accelerate the development of new cosmetic ingredients. Founded in 1928, the company has more than 100 production sites and offices worldwide, employing over 7,000 people.
