Newly blow-dried

Gaplast innovative hair care dispenser

Bavarian packaging manufacturer Gaplast has unveiled a new collaboration with major Japanese consumer goods manufacturer Kao: The companies have worked closely together to develop innovative packaging for a new high-quality mask for the hair care brand KMS HAIR, Gaplast has now announced. It is a 500-millilitre bag-in-bottle bottle that consists of 80 percent recycled material. The system optimises both product protection and user-friendliness, emphasised Gaplast.

Great protection, maximum emptying

Modern packaging solutions for hair care should not only provide optimum protection for the product, but also enable easy application and maximum emptying. The bag-in-bottle technology fulfils these criteria: The airless dispenser is very suitable for high-quality cosmetic formulations that contain little or no preservatives. The dispenser offers great protection against damage from oxygen and preserves the quality and effectiveness of the hair mask throughout its entire service life.

Less new plastic

At the same time, the new dispenser emphasises sustainability. Thanks to flexible inner bags, hardly any product residue would remain even with high viscosity - almost complete emptying is possible. The use of new plastic is also significantly reduced: 80 per cent of the packaging is made from recycled materials. Gaplast is a family-run company in the packaging industry specialising in the pharmaceutical, medical and cosmetics sectors. The company employs around 320 people at two locations and has its own development department as well as numerous patents.
