The Central Agency Packaging Register (Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister, ZSVR) has published the Minimum Standard 2024, which assesses the recyclability of packaging more precisely. Thanks to technical advances in recycling plants, more plastic and aluminium components, especially from liquid cartons and films, can now be recycled. The new standard helps companies to assess their packaging more clearly in terms of recyclability and to prepare for the planned EU packaging regulation (PPWR).
