Estée Lauder acquires minority stake in perfume brand Xinú
The Estée Lauder Group (ELC) has acquired a minority stake in the Mexican luxury perfume brand Xinú and is integrating it into its global growth network. Since its launch in 2017, the three founders have created a brand with Xinú that brings together sensual fragrances, sustainable design and cultural narratives, according to Estée Lauder. ‘Mexico has become a vibrant centre for fragrance innovation and Xinú embodies this spirit,’ said President and CEO Stéphane de La Faverie. This is Estée Lauder's first investment in a Latin American brand.
