Fragrance manufacturer acquires distributors Classic Parfums and The Nose Behind
Fragrance manufacturer Mäurer & Wirtz is taking over the distribution companies Classic Parfums and The Nose Behind at the turn of the year. Both are to retain their identity, corporate culture and operational independence as independent entities in the luxury and niche segment, emphasises Mäurer & Wirtz. Founder and CEO Herbert Stricker will remain operational managing director for at least three years. With this acquisition, the family-owned company is continuing its growth strategy in the prestige and niche fragrance sector with the aim of becoming one of the global top 10 in the fragrance industry.
