L'Oréal has continued to grow
However, cosmetics group feels clear downward trend in China
The French cosmetics group L'Oréal increased its turnover and profit in 2024. Thanks to solid growth of a good five per cent, turnover rose to 43.48 billion euros, the company announced. Net profit totalled 6.41 billion euros. ‘We have achieved solid, broad-based growth and once again outperformed the global beauty market,’ said CEO Nicolas Hieronimus. However, a clear downward trend continued in China. Meanwhile, the L'Oréal Group acquired a minority stake in the innovative designer brand Jacquemus.
