L'Occitane is to take over the Dr Vranjes Firenze brand. According to the company, the acquisition of the Italian manufacturer of high-quality fragrances is part of the Group's strategy to build a geographically balanced portfolio of premium brands.
Brand Sales in 75 Countries
Since 1983, Dr Franjes Firenze has been combining Florentine artisanship with findings from its own research and development work, the companies explain. The product range includes home scents as well as a growing selection of perfumes. The manufacturer sells its products in 75 countries.
Threefold Increase in Sales Revenue Over the Last Seven Years
In 2017, the company was acquired by the private equity firm Bluegem. Since then, the company says its online business has been expanded and a market presence established in Asia and the Middle East. According to Bluegem, brand sales revenue increased during this period to more than 42 million euros.
