Lightening for dark circles under the eyes

New active ingredient with apple mint to make eyes sparkle

The Swiss company Mibelle Biochemistry has presented the new active ingredient VividEYE. According to the specialist for bioactive cosmetic ingredients, the innovation offers a holistic solution for various problems on the lower eyelids in people of all ages. According to Mibelle, VividEYE strengthens the vascular network, reduces the permeability of blood vessels and has an effective effect on skin cells. Clinical studies have shown that the active ingredient reduces bags under the eyes, lightens dark circles and increases the luminosity of the eye area. The active ingredient is water-soluble and does not contain alcohol or preservatives.

The power of apple mint

VividEYE is based on organic apple mint leaves. This special mint from the labiate family is characterised by its hairy leaves and stems. The perennial plant originates from southern Europe, North Africa and parts of Asia and is also native to the Alps. Unlike many other types of mint, apple mint does not contain menthol. Instead, its mild flavour is characterised by a green apple note. Apple mint plays an important role in traditional Mediterranean medicine as it offers a variety of therapeutic benefits.

Improved well-being

Dark circles and bags under the eyes are a common sign of tiredness or premature ageing. They not only affect the external appearance, but also the emotional well-being of many people. Dark circles under the eyes are primarily caused by blood accumulation due to increased vascular permeability and melanin deposits, which increase with age. As the skin becomes thinner, discolouration becomes more visible. Bags under the eyes are caused by a weakening of the delicate tissue around the eyes and a disturbed lymphatic system, which leads to fluid retention. VividEYE aims to counteract these factors.
