Larger plant for Nivea
Beiersdorf invests 300 million euros in its Poznan site
Beiersdorf has doubled the production capacity of its plant in Poznan for around 300 million euros and created 200 new jobs. The DAX-listed company announced that the site has received six additional, highly automated production lines and a microbiological laboratory. The plant supplies more than 100 international markets with products of the brands Nivea, Eucerin, Atrix, Hidrofugal, Florena and the regional brand Bambino. In Europe, all production centres have now been decarbonised by switching from natural gas to biogas and the plants in Germany, Poland, Spain and Switzerland are climate-neutral. A new distribution centre is currently being built in Leipzig, which will supply the European market from 2027, as well as a 4,600 kW photovoltaic system. Further information ...
