Koehler Paper is expanding its product portfolio of innovative flexible packaging papers. Koehler NexPlus® Seal WVB is a heat-sealable paper whose functional layer provides a water vapour barrier for optimum product protection. It is suitable, for example, as packaging for household products such as dishwasher tabs, detergent powder or bath tabs.

Environmentally friendly

As part of the NexPlus® product group, the new product is recyclable and contributes to a sustainable circular economy. It consists of 100 per cent certified virgin fibre pulp with good strength and runnability properties as well as sealability. With this product, Koehler also aims to fulfil the requirements of the EU Green Deal and the European packaging regulation PPWR.

Long-term sustainable packaging

The aim of this recyclable generation of flexible packaging papers is to replace plastics in packaging wherever possible through the use of so-called barrier papers. Various flexible packaging papers from Koehler Paper have been awarded the "Made for Recycling" seal by the environmental service provider Interzero.
