Symrise Launches New “Care & Wellness” Business Unit
Symrise, the Lower Saxony-based manufacturer of fragrances and ingredients, has launched a new “Care & Wellness” business unit. The company announced that this move is in response to the growing global interest in products that help people feel healthier and enhance their well-being. The new business division brings together expertise in cosmetic ingredients, health-related active ingredients, and biotics. Combined with last year’s acquisition of the Swedish probiotics company Probi, this creates a dedicated portfolio of health and beauty solutions to develop market-ready concepts more quickly in response to changing consumer preferences. “With Care & Wellness, we are combining our strengths in cosmetic ingredients and health-related solutions into a comprehensive innovation offering,” said Symrise CEO Jean-Yves Parisot.
