Glass bottles from the designer

Glass bottles from the designer

To mark the global World Refill Day on 16 June, the Hamburg hotel chain "25hours" and the Swiss natural cosmetics brand Soeder have launched three 500-millilitre glass bottles in a limited edition, which will be sold in the 25hours-things shops. The bottles were designed in collaboration with the renowned designers Werner Aisslinger, Alfredo Häberli and Paola Navone from Studio Otto. All three have already developed individual interior concepts for 25hours hotels in Berlin, Cologne, Zurich and Florence. The limited-edition glass bottles play with the designs that are typical of the respective hotels, such as "Urban Jungle" in Berlin or a graphic declaration of love to Zurich.

Sustainable care for refilling

All three glass bottles can be filled on site with the "Herbal Garden" body soap, shampoo or "Orange Grove" body lotion. The bottles are part of a long-term sustainability concept that aims to promote the elimination of single-use plastic in hotel operations. The lifestyle hotel chain and Soeder have been working together since 2023. Hotel guests have access to three refillable care products from the Swiss brand in all hotels. Soeder stands for high-quality and sustainable natural care products made from purely natural raw materials and produced in-house at the Zurich soap factory. Refill options with special refill bottles are also available for all Soeder products.

Commitment against plastic pollution

The international World Refill Day on 16 June was launched in 2015 by the British non-profit organisation "City to Sea" to draw attention to plastic pollution in the water and to highlight alternatives to single-use plastic. Since 2022, it has also been celebrated in Germany with activities and media campaigns. The current campaign is intended to emphasise the joint sustainability concept of 25hours Hotels and Soeder. The offer is available while stocks last.
