Fragrance capsules for personal care
Givaudan expands PlanetCaps range for longer-lasting effects
Swiss fragrance and flavour manufacturer Givaudan has now developed its PlanetCaps micro fragrance capsules, previously only used in fabric softeners, for use in personal care products. The microplastic-free, biodegradable capsules are designed to provide long-lasting fragrance effects for hair and body care products, the company emphasises. They are available in around 20 different variants. The microscopic beads enclose fragrance oils and burst open a while after application to release the fragrances.
