Growth in Amazon Premium Beauty Store offsets decline in sales

The Estée Lauder Group is facing significant changes as a result of its “Beauty Reimagined” restructuring plan, which is designed to increase profitability. Due to weak sales in China and in the duty-free business, 3,200 of the more than 60,000 jobs worldwide will be cut by the end of 2026, with further jobs hanging in the balance. However, declines in net sales in North America were offset by the expansion of several brands in the Amazon Premium Beauty Store.
