Aptar Beauty presents pipette with automatic filling

Aptar has introduced "NeoDropper AutoLoad", a new pipette solution designed to simplify the filling and dispensing of liquid cosmetics. The solution combines an automatic filling mechanism with a precise applicator for reproducible product delivery. According to the company, the automatic filling system makes it easier to use, as the pipette is filled without manual intervention. The applicator has been developed for premium and dermo-cosmetic brands and is suitable for a wide range of cosmetic liquid formulations, including serums, oils, essences and other liquids. The modular design allows for easy integration into existing filling lines, according to the packaging specialist.

Traditional, precise drop dosing

The NeoDropper is designed to enable precision, control and protection of formulations. It retains the intuitive handling of a traditional pipette while modernising its use with a twist-open cap and automatic dosing via a short applicator. This is designed to enable controlled drop dosing regardless of the viscosity of the formulation. It is automatically reloaded with the same precise dose each time the packaging is opened. Automated filling eliminates the need for manual handling. According to Aptar, the dropper consists of components that are compatible with common bottle sizes and shapes. In addition, the system allows switching between different formulations without costly retooling.

Better hygiene, less waste

The applicator design also aims to improve hygiene and dosage control. The sealed bottle prevents overflowing and spillage. Thanks to a riser tube in the bottle, the formulation can be used down to the last drop, which is intended to reduce product loss. Avoiding direct contact between the formulation and the applicator also offers a high level of protection against bacterial contamination. According to the company, this has been confirmed in tests conducted by an independent microbiological laboratory. "The innovative pipette improves precision and protection and is a real differentiator for premium brands," said Aptar manager Caroline Aubert.
