Douglas Has Set its Sights on the 5 Billion Mark

The Group Achieves Sales of 4 Billion Euros for the First Time

Douglas completed its financial year 2022/23 with adj. sales of 4.1 billion euros. According to the company, this represents an increase of 12.1 per cent compared to the 3.65 billion euros turnover in the previous year.

Double-Digit Growth Both Online and in Stores

The group cemented its omnichannel focus as both stores with +13.0 per cent and E-Commerce with +10.3 per cent contributed double-digit to this performance. CEO Sander van der Laan says the group is well on track to maintain its growth trajectory and achieve the sales target of 5 billion euros by 2026.

Growth Strategy to Enable Sales of 5 Billion Euros

To achieve this goal, the company is pursuing a growth strategy that includes several initiatives and fields of action. For example, the store network is to be expanded. In the past financial year, 39 stores were added, 26 of which were in Central Eastern Europe alone, one of the group's most important growth regions. The online business remains an important pillar of the group's omnichannel model. According to the company, it is also pursuing the goal of being a leading premium beauty retailer in sustainability.
