Deodorant sprays in recycled aluminum
Beiersdorf and Ball Corporation complete Europe-wide transition
The US-based Ball Corporation and the Beiersdorf Group have completed the Europe-wide switch to fully recycled post-consumer aluminum (PCR) for aerosol cans for brands such as Nivea Men and 8x4. The companies emphasized that the switch, which took place within a year, will significantly reduce the CO2 emissions of Beiersdorf's aluminum packaging. “This is not just a packaging innovation, but a decisive step toward a circular economy,” said Beiersdorf manager Kelvin Oecksler.
