Coty Reorganizes
US Group Expands Prestige Brands – and Reviewing Mass Business
The American perfume group Coty plans to more closely integrate its Prestige Beauty and Mass Fragrance divisions. This will allow the New York-based cosmetics group to focus more on its core competencies to achieve sustainable growth and accelerate value creation. "Through the closer integration of our fragrance and fragrance brands, we can better leverage our potential and scale," says CEO Sue Nabi. At the same time, Coty intends to further expand its prestige portfolio in the cosmetics and skincare business with strong margin potential globally – but is also reviewing its consumer beauty business with color mass cosmetics, which includes brands such as CoverGirl, Sally Hansen, and Max Factor. Two leading managers in the consumer beauty division have already left the company. More information .
