Coty changes management

Markus Strobel succeeds Sue Nabi as CEO after share price collapse

The cosmetics group Coty has reorganised its management following a slump in its share price: Long-time Procter & Gamble manager Markus Strobel took over as interim CEO at the turn of the year, replacing the previous CEO Sue Nabi after five years at the top, the company announced. He also succeeds the almost 80-year-old Peter Harf, who is retiring after three decades as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Strobel was a manager at Procter & Gamble for 33 years and most recently drove the modernisation of the multi-billion dollar global skin and body care business as President. Coty hopes that the change in leadership will provide new impetus for growth and profitability - however, the search for a permanent CEO is still ongoing, it was reported. Further information ...
