Ballerstaedt presents two new sealing materials
Ballerstaedt, the Baden-Württemberg-based manufacturer of sealing technology, will be presenting two newly developed sealing materials at the upcoming CosmeticBusiness that are particularly suitable for protecting high-quality cosmetic products. Both materials are supplied flat or preformed as aluminium sealing caps or rolls. They are free from bisphenol A and the so-called perpetuity chemicals PFAS, emphasises the company. Founded in 1946, the company is recognised as one of the leading manufacturers in the field of sealing technology.
All-rounder for saving energy
The new product BaCo Seal Pro Peel 4.3 is a universally applicable sealing film. The all-rounder is suitable as a peelable sealant for various plastics, for example. However, the material can also be used for sealing glass, aluminium and sheet metal without any problems. Thanks to a universal sealing medium, the sealing temperatures can be reduced, thus saving energy.
For high demands
Another innovation, BaCo Seal PP-Coat 4.2, offers a peelable seal against polypropylene containers. According to Ballerstaedt, it has a particularly high filling resistance and is therefore also suitable for demanding products. Hot filling is also unproblematic for the film. This makes the material particularly suitable for food and cosmetic products.
