CosmeticBusiness 2025: Programme provides impetus for tomorrow
Whether it's new regulations, growing pressure to innovate or changes in consumer behaviour - the cosmetics industry is facing radical change. The programme at CosmeticBusiness 2025, which will take place on 4 and 5 June at the MOC Munich, will address the key challenges facing the industry and provide answers for the future.
From high-calibre panel talks and keynotes to impulse lectures: The anniversary edition of the international supplier event for the cosmetics industry offers an extensive two-day programme. Visitors can expect forward-looking impulses and exciting discussions on topics such as clean beauty, the circular economy and generational marketing.
Day 1: Focus on formulation & production
The founder of Nø Cosmetics, Caroline Kroll, will open the first day of the trade fair with a keynote speech entitled "How cosmetics brands create real impact." Further highlights: A panel talk by Ecovia Intelligence on the future of natural and organic cosmetics, Euromonitor with insights into global beauty trends and innovative start-ups such as matrihealth and Labtree, which will demonstrate new approaches to product development. The Fraunhofer Institute will provide further impetus with a presentation on transparency in cosmetics and the resulting confidence-building among consumers.
Day 2: Rethinking packaging
The second day will be all about sustainable packaging solutions. In an expert talk, moderated by forewood, industry professionals will discuss the implementation of the new EU packaging regulation (PPWR). In his keynote speech, Felix Behm, generation researcher, will shed light on how brands can successfully appeal to Gen Z and Alpha. On stage, companies such as UPM Biochemicals, Meadow, zerooo and Lifocolor will show which materials and concepts will characterise the future.
New: Workshops & Community Award
The trade fair is celebrating its anniversary in 2025 - and is launching a workshop programme for the first time. In small groups, industry professionals will provide practical insights into topics such as colour cosmetics as a product range extension or secure market entry for start-ups.
The CosmeticBusiness Community Award will be presented for the first time: the audience will select the most popular SPOTLIGHT innovation product. The award ceremony will take place on 5 June at 3 p.m. on the stage in the INNOVATION CORNER.
All details of the programme can be found on the CosmeticBusiness website.
