EcoLux Pencil from Tokiwa Cosmetics aims to do more with less wood
Tokiwa Cosmetics has unveiled the EcoLux Pencil, a new coloured cosmetic pencil with a completely paper-based shaft containing no plastic. The robust paper sleeve is multi-layered to preserve product integrity, prevent oil leakage and ensure stability. However, it uses only a tenth of the wood required for conventional wooden pencils and refutes the myth that sustainable products require compromises in terms of use. The slim shape is designed to enable precise application, emphasises the US company of Japanese origin.
