Sephora has launched a return system for empty cosmetics packaging in North America. For this, the company has teamed up with the nonprofit organisation Pact Collective. Under the name "Beauty (Re)Purposed", the system will be available in over 600 stores of the beauty retailer. According to the company, it wants to help reduce the amount of packaging that ends up in landfills or in the oceans. Consumers are therefore now given the opportunity to drop off their cosmetics packaging at any Sephora retail store.
