Clarins becomes sustainable

Albéa presents refillable jar for day cream

The packaging giant Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance has presented the first refillable jar for a day cream from Clarins, Paris. The cap is made from recycled plastics and is metallised with a pearlescent finish, while the cup is made from tinted polypropylene. They are produced at the French plant in Albéa Simandre using two-component injection moulding. According to the company, the environmentally friendly packaging is the result of more than two years of research and development. Refilling twice reduces the ecological footprint by 84 per cent. Each refill promotes sustainability and helps Clarins to fulfil its corporate social responsibility goals. Further information ...
