The Spanish cosmetic ingredient developer LipoTrue Science & Biotechnologies has reworked two tried-and-tested ingredients for skin care. With Epitensive EVO, the international manufacturer presented the further development of the active ingredient, which offers a new structural reinforcement. At the same time, the effectiveness of the biomimetic, human collagen IV fragment "Col-4-Frag remastered" has been extended to the face. It is intended to offer a holistic approach for a comprehensive treatment to promote skin firmness and youthfulness, the company announced.

Nature as a role model

With the launch of Epitensive EVO and the new efficacy of Col-4-Frag remastered, LipoTrue says it is expanding its commitment to biotechnological innovation. Both ingredients are a response to the growing demand for sustainable active ingredients that combine cutting-edge technology, biomimetics and proven results to achieve firmer, more radiant and rejuvenated skin. Biomimetics aims to mimic efficient strategies of natural organisms to solve human challenges.

A classic evolved

Epitensive was LipoTrue's first active ingredient and marks the start of biotech cosmetics. Epitensive EVO is a further development of the classic product to support skin regeneration. It is a biomimetic protein that stimulates cell metabolism and the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin. This reduces wrinkles and restores the skin's natural radiance. The protein is based on wild plants grown in vertical farming. Plants are cultivated in several layers, one above the other. Col-4-Frag remastered - which improves the firmness and appearance of the neck and décolleté - is now also suitable for the face by acting on the collagen IV network. According to LipoTrue, this also reduces wrinkles and minimises dark spots.
