Beiersdorf Is Growing in Double Digits

Growth Drivers Nivea, Derma and Luxury

Beiersdorf generated sales of 8.8 billion euros in 2022. This corresponds to an increase of 10.2 per cent compared to the previous year. According to the group, this was the largest increase in 20 years. The major growth drivers reportedly were the Nivea business in Europe and in the Emerging Markets, the Derma business and the luxury segment with La Prairie. According to the company, Nivea grew by 9.6 per cent, the derma brands Eucerin and Aquaphor by 23.9 per cent. The luxury brand La Prairie increased sales by 1.9 per cent. This growth was mainly due to the recovery of the important travel retail business and the upturn in brick-and-mortar retail in North America, Beiersdorf said.
