Beiersdorf builds for the future

Cornerstone laid for new innovation centre

The Beiersdorf Group has laid the cornerstone for a new innovation centre on its corporate campus in Hamburg. With an investment of 139 million euros, the DAX-listed company aims to strengthen its research and development at its headquarters and its international innovative strength, said CEO Vincent Warnery. The innovation centre, which will include laboratories and creative areas, is to be built on an area of 14,000 square metres. Close cooperation with universities, start-ups and other partners is also planned.
