Authentic, sustainable and well designed
Spanish start-up Idony opts for Quadpack's recyclable bottles
Barcelona-based cosmetics start-up Idony Cosmetics is launching its new products "Lip Bloom Oil & Tint", "Dream Paint Bronzer" and "Dream Paint Blush" in Quadpack's "Gala dip-in" packaging line. The containers are made of mono-material PET and are recyclable. With a capacity of 4.5 millilitres, the thick-walled bottle is designed for compact make-up formats. Idony's vegan and cruelty-free products are manufactured according to a minimalist philosophy and are inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Cooperation between regional partners
Idony attaches great importance to packaging that is functional, high-quality and sustainable. In Quadpack, the young company found a local supplier who accompanied the development process from the initial consultation to the prototype and series production. The close cooperation also included Idony's filling partner. "It was amazing to see how a single packaging solution could be adapted to different textures and formulas while remaining aesthetically consistent across all three formulas," says founder Marta Domínguez.
Two applicators for different products
For the lip tint, Idony uses "The Irresistible" applicator with a spoon-shaped tip and integrated reservoir – complemented by a wiper for precise dosing. The "Dream Paint Bronzer" and "Dream Paint Blush" face products are equipped with the flexible "The Essential" spatula, which contains two product reservoirs. The packaging also differs in appearance: while the bronzer and blush come in clear, matt tins, the lip tint pack is opaque and colour-coordinated. The Essential applicator is very flexible and gentle for easy application.
