Asambeauty Creates New Senior Executive Positions
The Cosmetics Company Aims to Become Online Market Leader for Beauty Products in Europe and the USA
The Germany-based cosmetics company Asambeauty has extended its team of senior executives working alongside CEO and company founder Marcus Asam. According to the company, the two newly created positions of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and Chief Customer Officer (CCO) will serve to initiate further national and international growth in its Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business.
Expert in E-Commerce as CTO
The position of CTO was taken up by Dr Thomas Feuring in March. He will be working on the further development and expansion of Asambeauty's IT infrastructure. Dr Feuring gained over 15 years of management experience in e-commerce companies where he was responsible for the development, expansion and internationalisation of organisational units, Asambeauty adds. In his last position as CTO at Triple A Internetshops, he was in charge of consolidating the various shops and backend systems.
CCO Experienced in Digital Transformation
Sebastian Hasebrink will join the management team as CCO from mid-April. In his career so far, he has worked in various digital fields with a focus on e-commerce, online marketing, CRM, product management and business intelligence. Among other things, he was responsible as one of the founders for developing Junique, a start-up company for art and design. He comes to Asambeauty from the shoe retailer Deichmann where it was his task as Chief Digital Officer and member of the board to digitally transform the company and the European online business. In his new position, Hasenbrink is expected to take the next steps on the company's path to becoming one of the leading online beauty suppliers in Europe and the USA.
