Givaudan Active Beauty presents algae active ingredient Evernityl
The Swiss company Givaudan Active has presented the algae preparation Evernityl against skin ageing. The product is then manufactured in an upcycling process. The fresh algae are said to be a beauty ingredient for youthful skin.
Porphyrins are stopped

In the newly discovered biological mechanism, porphyrin metabolites produced in the skin a key role in skin ageing. Evernityl is an effective ingredient for the treatment of porphyr'ageing, according to Givaudan Active. It slows down skin ageing by inhibiting the production of porphyrins. The formation of spots is reduced to promote a more even skin tone. Evernityl also improves the elasticity and firmness of the skin and thus prevents the formation of wrinkles.
Beauty through healthy skin
According to the company, Evernityl can be used universally and works on several levels to counteract signs of skin ageing and prevent skin damage. It therefore offers a comprehensive solution for healthier and more youthful-looking skin. "Today, every stage of life is celebrated and ageing is proactively addressed," says Givaudan Research and Development Director Romain Reynaud. "Skin health is a cornerstone of beauty. Consumers are looking for brands that support their quest for longevity.”
