Description

Although Switzerland is located in the heart of Europe, it is not a member of the EU or the EEA. In principle, this means that legislation can be passed autonomously in Switzerland. Of course, the legislator has recognized that any legislation that deviates from the EU can lead to barriers to trade. And thus to the loss or increase in price of products.

Nobody along the value chain actually wants this, neither suppliers, nor manufacturers, retailers and their customers.

Nevertheless, there are some important differences in various pieces of legislation. These will be explained in more detail in the presentation.
