With our TopTube material reduction is key. Unlike previous tubes, the shoulder of the TopTube takes up the function of the cap‘s head plate. Thanks to the shoulder‘s specifically adapted shape, an additional material reduction in the shoulder could be realized.
The cap's CO2 footprint is over 70% lower than that of a comparable standard fliptop cap (6.4 g CO2e/TopTube cap vs. 24.5 g CO2e for standard fliptop cap Ø 50 mm; incl. HDPE, injection moulding and material transport). The cap is made of HDPE for better recyclability.
The LINHARDT-exclusive patented closure system is available for tube diameters of 30, 35, 40 and 50 mm and is therefore ideal for product lines with different tube sizes.
