Tube with transparent pipette
Quadpack's ‘Wanderer’ cosmetics dropper gets an upgrade for luxury brands
Quadpack's dropper tube "The Wanderer" has been redesigned just one year after its launch and now offers a special range for luxury brands. Made from recyclable raw materials, the pipette tube now also comes in an exquisite aesthetic that is tailored to premium brands. Thanks to a transparent material in the tip of the tube, droplets are visible on their way through the pipette. This gives the packaging a new sensual dimension, according to the international company for packaging solutions in the cosmetics industry. The dropper solution developed by Quadpack's Creative Hub had already attracted attention last year with its mechanism for precise, accurate dosing of low-viscosity products.
Flow regulators enable precise dosing
The Wanderer tube, designed for liquid products such as oils, serums and boosters, is equipped with a flow control disc. It directs the fluid through a circuit with physical obstacles to build up resistance and thus enable controlled, drip-precise dispensing of the contents. Dosing is done by intuitively pressing the tube. ‘Wanderer is an efficient and user-friendly packaging solution that ensures controlled and precise dosing of liquid cosmetics,’ explains Alejandra Isern from Quadpack.
Different formats possible
The ‘Wanderer Divine’ pipette is made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The high transparency of PET, which allows the contents to be clearly recognised, is an important differentiating feature for the luxury market and adds value to the packaging, says Quadpack. Creative decoration options and different formats also enable a high-quality look. ‘Wanderer Divine’ is available in either single or multi-layer versions and is also offered with PCR content. This means that up to 100 per cent of the lid and up to 50 per cent of the single-layer tube can be recycled.
