Care with a lot of feeling

Quadpack presents new eye cream tubes and lip gloss packaging

International packaging manufacturer Quadpack has unveiled Serenity Tube, a new packaging solution for eye care products. The innovative product features a flexible, smooth applicator that glides over the skin, making the application of creams or serums more pleasant and efficient. According to Quadpack, the special texture of the soft thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) improves absorption and creates a gentle massage effect. The tube, with a diameter of 19 millimetres, is available in sizes from 8 to 25 millilitres and is particularly suitable for creamy formulas such as decongestant care products and anti-ageing formulas. A patented valve system enables precise dosing and prevents leakage.

Sustainable and customisable

According to Quadpack, the Serenity Tube is available in a variety of material options. Both the sleeve and the cap can be made from recycled materials. This reduces the carbon footprint by up to 21 per cent. All components can be decorated to match the brand identity. The tube is more than just attractive packaging; it improves application and increases the effectiveness of the formulation, emphasises manager Alejandra Isern. Flexible applicators have previously been common mainly in lip care, but Quadpack has now transferred the concept to the sensitive eye area.

Made in Germany: lip gloss made from a single material

Another new addition to the Quadpack portfolio is Lola Dip-In, the first monomaterial PET bottle manufactured at the German plant in Kierspe, North Rhine-Westphalia. Regional production improves the ecological balance and delivery times. The bottle, cap and applicator stick are suitable for face and lip products and are made entirely of PET, while the scraper is made of TPE. The cylindrical, thick-walled bottle can be combined with five different patented applicators, and the applicator tips can be customised. Additional decorative options are also available, such as full-surface hot foil stamping for complex graphics and high-gloss surfaces, screen printing and metallisation. According to Quadpack, Lola is primarily aimed at mass-market and niche brands that value sustainable materials and high-quality design.
