Wrapping on a Paper Basis
Versatile, Functional Material as an Alternative for Plastic Films
Orlandi, an U.S.-based provider of packaging and sampling solutions, has launched EcoPro Paper-Wrap. This is said to be a high-barrier, coated, heat-sealable paper-wrap material that is recyclable. It reportedly offers a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic film or foil pouches, doboys and some sachets. According to the manufacturer, it also offers lower costs compared to folding cartons.
Various Applications Possible
One of the key features of EcoPro reportedly is its versatility, as it can wrap most hard-good products currently flow-wrapped in traditional packaging films. EcoPro is said to offer a solution as well for e-commerce, shelf display, point-of-purchase arrangements as for peg-rack retail applications.
Customised Brand Designs Feasible
Furthermore, the material offers various printing capabilities, ensuring brands can maintain their visual identity while embracing environmentally friendly packaging solutions, the company states.
