Beiersdorf has acquired a majority stake in S-Biomedic. The Belgian life-science company specialises in researching the skin microbiome and develops active ingredients for cosmetic products by making use of living skin bacteria. The German skincare company invested in S-Biomedic already in 2018. The collaboration reportedly will now become even closer.
