Individual Cosmetic Products as Needed

Clariant's New Concept Features Cosmetics That Can Be Customised to Meet Daily Needs

Clariant is joining the personalisation trend. With its new range of BeautyCraft Boosters, the manufacturer aims to provide brand owners with customisable cosmetics that allow users to tailor skincare products to their daily needs.

Boosters Transform Base Formula

The company explains that each collection is created using a base formula and assorted related booster variants. These are intended to enhance or modify the effects of the base formula according to the customers' current wishes. Users just need to add a few drops of the chosen booster to a basic moisturiser or cleanser to turn it into an exfoliating or mattifying lotion, for example.

According to the manufacturer, the new concept offers mild formulations with natural ingredients. These range from mild sugar surfactants such as GlucoTain Sense and GlucoTain Care to active ingredients such as BioDTox that the company says can offer antioxidant protection against pollutants.

Cleansing Cream, Exfoliator or Shampoo

There are two collections available at the moment. The Cleansing Collection is a cleansing product that can be transformed into anything from a marshmallow-like detoxifying wash to a gentle facial scrub, an anti-frizz shampoo or even a pH-neutral gel for intimate cleansing. The skincare range uses a moisturising gel serum. Users can adapt this to create a moisturiser for the skin in the morning, a mattifying face lotion, a shimmering foundation or a face milk that protects against environmental factors.
