Higher Prices, Improved Efficiency

Henkel Has Come Through the Year Well And Reports Significant Sales Growth

Henkel increased its sales by 8.8 per cent to 22.4 billion euros in 2022. According to the group, it succeeded in partially compensating the rise in raw material and logistics costs through higher prices and efficiency improvements. Sales development in the Beauty Care business unit was said to be slightly negative at -0.5 per cent. While the ongoing recovery in the Hair Professional business had a positive effect, Beauty Care’s consumer business was impacted in particular by portfolio measures. The Laundry & Home Care business unit generated a sales growth of 6.3 per cent, driven particularly by significant growth in the Laundry Care business area.
