The majority of Christmas shoppers are spending the same amount of money on gifts this year as last year - 71 per cent. This was the result of a representative survey by YouGov. Five per cent of respondents even plan to spend more money. On average, Christmas shoppers spent around 277 euros. Vouchers, books, toys, cosmetics and clothing are particularly popular.
