    Exhibitors’ and visitors' statements on CosmeticBusiness 2019

    Exhibitors' Statements about CosmeticBusiness 2019:

    Volker Rudolph, Sales Manager, A. Landerer GmbH & Co. KG: CosmeticBusiness is the perfect trade fair for our customers because it brings together the entire product range of the cosmetics supplying industry at a single venue. This is also reflected in the quality. We have been exhibiting for six years now and have never been disappointed. The event has grown every year and this year the high level of CosmeticBusiness was once again clear.

    Hans-Jürgen Schuder, Managing Director, dreiturm GmbH: CosmeticBusiness 2019 was a complete success for us. We had conversations from the very beginning to the very last minute, and this year we were especially pleased to welcome many existing customers to our stand. Especially positive: Many customers came with concrete inquiries about projects which are planned for the near future.

    Bernd Stauch, Senior Director Sales Cosmetics, Gerresheimer: It is very important for us to be present at CosmeticBusiness every year. Here we can exchange ideas with the entire cosmetics supplying industry. We also noticed how international the fair has become in recent years. In the beginning, exhibitors from the German-speaking countries were the main exhibitors but new countries are now being added all the time. Nevertheless, CosmeticBusiness remains pleasantly compact: trade visitors can easily get an overview of the entire industry on one day without falling into stress. This also benefits the discussions.

    Frank Hahlbohm, Managing Director, Kurt Kitzing GmbH: We were very satisfied with the development of CosmeticBusiness 2019. Our stand was always busy and we were consistently talking to customers. This year we were able to make new, young contacts, some of which proved to be extremely fruitful. All in all, it was a great fair for us.

    Patrick Semadeni, Managing Director, Logo-Plastic AG: The result for this year's CosmeticBusiness is overwhelmingly positive for us. We had many existing customers at our stand with whom we were able to discuss several projects in detail. As always, the structure and organisation worked without any problems. For us, these are all signs that CosmeticBusiness has long since established itself as an industry meeting place.

    Stefano Focolari, CEO & Managing Director, mktg industry: CosmeticBusiness was exactly the right place to present our packaging solutions. The German market is particularly conscious of the issue of sustainability and this was also demonstrated at CosmeticBusiness 2019: We were repeatedly asked about our products, which we also exhibited in Spotlight, were able to make so many interesting new contacts and meet three of our biggest clients in Germany. After this successful debut, we will probably be back next year.

    Thomas Werner, Sales Manager, PKB: Every year CosmeticBusiness offers us the ideal opportunity to talk directly to end customers from the cosmetics supplying industry. At other industrial fairs we are often just one exhibitor among many, here we meet the customers for whom we manufacture our machines. The quality of our contacts is improving every year, and we will certainly not miss out on this opportunity in 2020.

    Hagen Döring, Area Sales Manager, Provital Group: As an international industry meeting place, CosmeticBusiness is always a wonderful platform for us to exchange ideas. Here we can discuss our innovations and trends with product managers and marketing experts - and at the same time, maintain contact with existing customers. In spite of our many years of experience as exhibitors, we were very nervous before this year's CosmeticBusiness: We had our stand built for the first time; and we doubled the size of our exhibition, took part in the Spotlight and gave a lecture at the conference programme. The extra effort was absolutely worth it.

    Christian Maassen, Marketing Director, Seidel GmbH & Co. KG: To some extent, because we have been away for some time, this year's CosmeticBusiness was once again a debut for us - and a very successful one at that: We were able to meet many potential new customers, both from Germany and from other European countries. Start-ups, in particular, approached us again and again, which is particularly positive since our new product collection is aimed precisely at this target group. On the first day, we were even able to seal our first order. We are still waiting for the results to be evaluated, but the probability that we will be there again in 2020 is very high.

    Lucia Ehemann, Key Account Manager, Straub GmbH: This was the first time we exhibited at CosmeticBusiness. Last year, as a visitor, I was so enthusiastic about the industry meeting point that I absolutely had to convince our Managing Director to exhibit in 2019. It was worth it: the atmosphere is great, the distances are short and the organisation functions smoothly. We were somewhat surprised by the large number of packaging manufacturers and international export customers, so much that we had to have our export manager attend at short notice. Next year we will surely change our staffing plan.

    Koen Van den Eede, VP Sales, Toly: With CosmeticBusiness 2019 we wanted to strengthen our position in the German market and renew old contacts. The fact that this was the right decision was evident on the very first day: the number of visitors was greater than expected and the quality of the customer talks was also more than satisfactory. We were able to meet many existing customers from Germany and Austria again, but also get to know some potential new customers.

    Michael Hepf, Managing Director and Lea Weber, Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce, W. Ulrich GmbH: Our debut as an exhibitor last year was so successful that expectations for CosmeticBusiness 2019 were very high. That said our expectations were actually exceeded. We are a medium-sized company, and consequently, target medium-sized customers from all sectors - which we were all able to attract to our stand. In addition to the quality of our contacts, we also noticed the high internationality of the stand visitors this year. We will definitely be there again next year.

    Visitors' Statements about CosmeticBusiness 2019:

    Marco Schöner, Managing Director, Duesberg medical GmbH: I'm regularly at the trade fair in Munich and was absolutely thrilled once again: No other trade fair deserves the title "industry meeting place" as much as CosmeticBusiness. Here you can meet the most important contacts from the entire industry in a small area and all the relevant contacts are always there. I was once again able to take home many exciting insights and will certainly be back next year.

    Frank Seus, Purchasing Manager, sebamed: We attend CosmeticBusiness every year because here we meet exactly those exhibitors and suppliers who are suitable for our products. This time we were again able to achieve a consistently positive result: good discussions, high-quality contacts. We will be there again in 2020.

    In 2019, 449 exhibitors and companies from Germany and abroad presented themselves at CosmeticBusiness, the international trade fair for the cosmetics supplying industry. CosmeticBusiness is the only international trade fair in Europe where the cosmetics industry meets exclusively with its suppliers and finds solutions for the development of all cosmetic products from active ingredients to manufacture and packaging.
