    Exhibitors’ and visitors' statements on CosmeticBusiness 2018

    Exhibitors' statements on CosmeticBusiness 2018:

    Jean Paul Corbeil, Managing Director, Corpack GmbH: "CosmeticBusiness 2018 was a record for us. After just one day, we welcomed as many visitors to our stand as we did during the entire trade fair last year. We were constantly busy up until the end of the trade fair, and we held numerous promising discussions. One of the highlights was the excellent mix of visitors - employees from start-ups as well as large companies were there."

    Markus Neubauer, Key Account Manager, HEINZ-GLAS GmbH & Co. KGaA: "CosmeticBusiness is a trend barometer for the entire industry. It is important to be present here. For us CosmeticBusiness is also a kind of home fair at which we are very happy to exhibit. This time we exchanged views with numerous visitors from Germany and abroad. Both existing and potential new customers came to our stand. We were very satisfied with the course of the trade fair."

    Christian Heil, Key Account Manager, SZAIDEL COSMETIC GmbH: "CosmeticBusiness is an ideal platform for finding out about trends in the cosmetics industry. This also includes the interesting conference programme. Our employees had the opportunity to attend lectures, which was very well received. Of course, we also talked to trade fair visitors about industry trends at our highly frequented stand. So at CosmeticBusiness we were able to present our offer as a contract manufacturer and full-service provider for cosmetics and skin care products very well."

    Sascha Bauer, Sales, A. Landerer GmbH & Co. KG: "Personally, this was my first time at CosmeticBusiness. And I must say: the trade fair has character. It is also compact, which I think is very good. For us as a manufacturer of folding cartons for the cosmetics industry, CosmeticBusiness is simply the right choice, because this is exactly where we can reach our target group. I also found it positive that many start-ups were on the lookout at CosmeticBusiness on the visitor side. The trend towards natural cosmetics was also a recurring theme in our discussions."

    Kirsten Luz, General Manager, F+P trading GmbH: "We specialise in primary packaging for colour cosmetics. That is why we decided to exhibit this year in the new exhibition section Colour Cosmetics in hall 1. We're very happy with this decision. From our point of view, it is an advantage that exhibitors from the colour cosmetics sector have now been bundled together. It meant that we had more visitors at our stand than last year. Hall 1 is a real trade fair highlight for us."

    Dr. Kathrin Berger, Managing Director, bci Bio Cosmetics International GmbH: "CosmeticBusiness has been very successful for us. We were able to welcome more visitors to our stand than last year. There were a lot of discussions with a lot of potential. Above all, maintaining contacts with suppliers was important to us and worked well. Despite the compactness of the trade fair, all the major companies from the industry were present. CosmeticBusiness was also very well organised - both before and during the trade fair".

    Jyle Cäcilie Garleff, Product Manager Personal Care & Cleaning, Biesterfeld: "We took part in CosmeticBusiness as an exhibitor for the first time after our sales managers attended the trade fair as visitors in previous years. The trade fair is a welcomed opportunity to meet with existing customers, but also to make new contacts and is the ideal platform to present our two new formulation kits around the topic Blogger's Beauty. The Color 2 Love Kit offers concepts around colour cosmetics, the Fit'n Fabulous Kit contains unisex formulations for sporty people. CosmeticBusiness was a complete success for us. We will certainly consider participating again next year."

    Michael Reicherzer, Sales Representative, Hopf Packaging GmbH: "Immediately after the trade fair was opened, we had our first customers at our stand. Especially on the first day of the trade fair there was a lot going on. We spoke to numerous visitors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. But we were also able to welcome guests from Poland and France, for example. This year we found that the demand for sustainable, alternative and recyclable materials has increased. The trade fair offers everything you need in the cosmetics supplying industry. All renowned companies from the industry are on site. CosmeticBusiness has become the most important trade fair for us."

    Volker Kloubert, Managing Director, inspira:cosmetics: "We had a lot of interest in our products at CosmeticBusiness. Especially from the private label sector we have received numerous inquiries. This means that we were able to achieve our goal at the trade fair. CosmeticBusiness is getting more and more international. For example, we met visitors from Belgium and the Netherlands. There was even a visitor from Australia at our stand. Compared to other trade fairs we have little loss of coverage at CosmeticBusiness - here professionals buy from professionals."

    Eric Firmin, President, HCP Packaging France: "CosmeticBusiness has grown a lot. Both visitors and exhibitors are increasingly being drawn to the trade fair. It's an industry meeting place you simply can't miss. CosmeticBusiness is also important to us as a company. We are very happy with how the trade fair went this year. We met many existing customers and made new contacts. We have also exchanged views on specific projects that have already started. Since HCP took over RUSI Cosmetic last year, CosmeticBusiness was now also a good opportunity to present our complete product range to the trade public".

    Anna Adler, Senior Project Manager, Iggesund Paperboard AB: "As Germany is one of our most important markets, CosmeticBusiness is a particularly interesting trade fair for our company. The visitors of CosmeticBusiness know what they want. One of our guests, for example, had prepared a list of exhibitors to visit. We also presented our new digital printing product at CosmeticBusiness, which was very well received. I believe that we were able to inspire the visitors."

    Thomas Werner, Sales Manager D-A-CH, PKB: "Our machines, which we manufacture exclusively for the cosmetics industry, have attracted a great deal of interest. There was such a large crowd at our stand that we were almost unable to keep up with the discussions. This has resulted in new, high-quality contacts. It was also very positive that numerous decision-makers attended the trade fair. This year's CosmeticBusiness was a success for us and we hope for a good follow-up business."

    Mathias Grundschöttel, Sales SpeedMixer, Hauschild Engineering: "We only participate in a few trade fairs as exhibitors. But as we have more and more customers in the cosmetics industry, we were at CosmeticBusiness for the first time. The trade fair was also recommended to us by many of our customers. The visitors were very interested in our SpeedMixer series. This is a laboratory mixing system for fast mixing, dispersing or grinding of different substances. At CosmeticBusiness we were able to establish a large number of new business contacts. One visitor even requested an offer directly, he was so convinced of our machines. So the decision to take part in CosmeticBusiness was exactly the right one."

    Timor Benari-Shuster, Marketing Communication, LAGEEN TUBES: "We unveiled two major new developments at this year's CosmeticBusiness. The first one, visitors in our stand were able to learn about the first fully and directly DIGITAL decorated plastic tubes. Our digital printing solution allows End-to-end decoration including printing on the cap. AHAVA, the well-known brand of Dead Sea products, is the first company which used this innovative technology. The second development, we were proud to inform our contacts that Mr. Philipp M. Eckardt is now LAGEEN’s representative in Germany and enable us to cater the cosmetic sector in Germany. The participation in the CosmeticBusiness allowed us to introduce our capabilities to the European market in general and to the German in particular. We are therefore very satisfied with the trade fair, which is of a high value to our company."

    Visitors' statements on CosmeticBusiness 2018:

    Jan Zwoferink, Owner, Corrective Cosmetics: "My company in the Netherlands produces skin care products and make-up for the professional market. I came to CosmeticBusiness again this year to look for new products for packaging and raw materials. Suppliers of ours exhibited at the fair. I paid them a visit. But I was also able to make new business contacts. I especially liked the new Distributors Lounge, where I participated in three matchmaking sessions. We had very promising talks that could lead to collaborations for our German business. I am very satisfied with my visit to CosmeticBusiness. Next year I'll be happy to come back to Munich."

    Philipp Keil, Head of Packaging, Kneipp GmbH: "CosmeticBusiness is one of the most important and focused trade fairs for me. I've regularly visited the trade fair in Munich since 2010 and I am always very happy with my visits. CosmeticBusiness is the place to talk with the right people and business contacts from the packaging sector. This year I also noticed the exhibitor spotlights."

    Roland Kienitz, Strategic Purchaser, Weleda AG: "My experience of this year's CosmeticBusiness in Munich was once again very positive. I have been visiting the trade fair for four years now because I have found that it is a well-structured and comprehensive range of products from the cosmetics supplying industry. At CosmeticBusiness I have the opportunity to get in touch with important contacts and have productive discussions in a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next year."

    In 2018, 419 exhibitors and represented companies from inside and outside Germany presented themselves, their products and services at CosmeticBusiness, the international trade fair of the cosmetics supplying industry. CosmeticBusiness is the only international trade fair in Europe, at which the cosmetics industry meets up exclusively with its suppliers and finds the wherewithal for the development of all kinds of cosmetic products, from the raw materials and manufacture to packaging. The only sector meeting place in Germany, Europe's largest cosmetics market, this B2B trade fair is indispensable as a trend barometer for decision makers in senior management positions, in product management and development, as well as those in marketing, purchasing and production. CosmeticBusiness 2019 will take place from 5 to 6 June in the MOC Munich.
