Zinc oxide is well known in the cosmetics industry for its UV absorption properties making it perfect for sunscreen formulations. The skincare properties of ZnO are also well known as a soothing agent for a long time. Now EverCare adds with ZANO® D a new function to this multi-purpose ingredient. It is a specifically designed transparent zinc oxide with odor control properties for usage in aesthetically pleasing deodorants. EverCare performed preliminary odor control studies showing a significate efficacy at levels from 4-10%, opening the possibility of usage in all kinds of Deo formulations.
