    Eyeshadow Placed in Cellulose

    7/27/21 | 8:00 AM time

Corpack Developed a Biodegradable Monomaterial Palette for Sustainable Cosmetic Brand

The packaging company Corpack – by its own account – has designed and developed the world's first eyeshadow palette made of biodegradable material for the “Planet Revolution” make-up line. This newly launched brand is part of the British sustainable cosmetic provider “Planet Revolution”. It is said to stand for clean formulations and conscientious packaging.

    Mirror Is Re-Usable

According to its manufacturer, the eyeshadow palette is made from a cellulose-based material that is 100 per cent biodegradable and suitable for industrial composting. Corpack designed the palette using only one material, without metal, magnets or adhesive. The pans and the mirror are integrated into the palette using a special click-system. The mirror can be snapped out after use and, for example, can be re-used as a hand mirror, according to the company.

Corpack will be exhibiting at this year's CosmeticBusiness in Munich. Its packaging solutions can be seen in hall 3 at stand D02.
